The ring is rated waterproof to a certain depth, but apparently washing my hands with it on has killed it--or rather, it charges and turns on but it won't connect to the app so can't provide any information and the clock has a random time.

It had a plastic bubble over the lcd display which peeled off. That may have contributed to crapping out.
